Performance
Music-making is thriving at Wheaton!
Indeed, the great majority of our music students rely on meaningful performance experiences to both enrich and complement their classroom learning. All of our activities are open to majors and non-majors alike. We offer a wealth of opportunities to study music privately and in ensembles of all sizes, with or without academic credit. The Music Department’s offerings range from jazz, to classical, to musical theatre, to cultures from around the globe. Thanks to the Evelyn Danzig Haas ’39 Visiting Artists Program and the Mary Bloor Loser concert series, Wheaton students have the rare opportunity to meet and study with world-renowned artists from a variety of genres.
