Placement Test

“My French is rusty. Why can’t I just take French 101?” Because students who have never studied French before need a class of their own.

If you have already studied any French, you must take the placement test before registering for a French course at Wheaton.  There is no other way for us to know which course would be appropriate for you.

Your placement is valid for the following semester only. If you cannot take a French Studies course in the coming term, wait until you can before taking the placement test.
