About

Wanda, once a Brown Fellow, returns to Wheaton as a Visiting Assistant Professor in History. Her published work investigates the history of women searchers of the dead, women sextons, and women undertakers in England from the sixteenth through the nineteenth centuries. She teaches courses on medieval and early modern Europe. Her favorite courses are Queens, Witches, and Whores; Tasting Empire: A History of Trading, Cooking, and Eating in the British Empire; and Death from Medieval Relics to Forensic Science.
