About
Eunji joined Wheaton College in the fall of 2022, teaching marketing and advertising courses. She completed her M.A. at the University of Texas at Austin and earned her Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Before entering graduate school, she worked at the global advertising agency Ogilvy Korea Group right after completing her bachelor’s degree at Seoul Women’s University. As an account executive, she was involved in a variety of global projects with Nike, developing integrated marketing campaigns.
Her research centers on the psychological dimensions of digital marketing. She is especially interested in how various types of digital marketing, such as online games and social media, influence children’s consumer behaviors. She is also interested in the ethical aspects of digital marketing for children.
Her work has appeared in journals in the fields of advertising, marketing, and communication, including the International Journal of Advertising, International Journal of Consumer Studies, and Computers in Human Behavior.
